THE EFFECT OF RICH URIN CONCENTRATION ON CUCUMBER PRODUCTION

Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) is a horticulture plant which contains nutrients and vitamins, so that gives many benefits for human. The production must be increased in quantity, quality and environmental sustanbility with fertilization by using organic fertilizer. Rabbit urine has meet standard of compost for use as organic fertilizer because it has organic material C / N (10-12%), P (2,20-2,76%), K (1,86%), Ca (2 , 08%), Mg (0.49%) S (0.36%) and pH 6.47-7.52. The purpose of this research to determine the influence of rabbit urine concentration on production of Cucumber and to determine the percentage rate on fertilization with rabbit urine which is the result of the highest production. The methode of this research is Completely Randomized Design, with one control (treatment A: rabbit urine 0%), and four treatments (treatment B: rabbit urine 65%, treatment C: rabbit urine 75%, treatment D: 85%, treatment E: 95%) with repetition at the treatments. The conclution of this research is Cucumber production and concentration 75% yield in Cucumber.
