The data used is a one-time production data for the maintenance of all broiler breeding business partnership and independent in june-august 2011 in the District of South Lampung Regency Merbau Mataram. The analysis model used is the Cobb-Douglass profit function, profit function estimators based Unit Output Price Method. The result of the indicate that the variable price of poultry, feed, medicine, labor costs significantly and negatively related to the production, which means that the higher the price of poultry, feed, medicine and labor will reduce the profit rate, whereas the experience, physical investment and partnership status positive effect on profits, which means that the longer the experience of raising the benefit to be received even greater the positive effect of physical investment to expand the chicken coop to increase the number of poultry farmers so that will add to earnings. Partnership status with positive values for 0.504, this partnership means farmers have higher profit than independent farmers. The result f the estimation of economics of scale conditions of broiler breeding at the study site is located on the condition scale increased to scale. Test show the use of economic efficiency of production factors and poultry feed should be increased to archieve efficiency, while the factors of production and the use of drugs in the outpouring of energy independent farmers and partners need to be reduced. From the calculated break even breeding broiler breeders indicated that the partnership first reached break even compared to independent farmers. The difference in the two patterns cattle break even related to differences in production capacity achieved in a period of maintenance and different selling prices.
2015-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2015 ITF Journal (International Technology Fisheries Journal) THE EFFECT OF RICH URIN CONCENTRATION ON CUCUMBER PRODUCTION 2019-12-14T15:37:44+07:00 Muhammad Khayuridlo
Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) is a horticulture plant which contains nutrients and vitamins, so that gives many benefits for human. The production must be increased in quantity, quality and environmental sustanbility with fertilization by using organic fertilizer. Rabbit urine has meet standard of compost for use as organic fertilizer because it has organic material C / N (10-12%), P (2,20-2,76%), K (1,86%), Ca (2 , 08%), Mg (0.49%) S (0.36%) and pH 6.47-7.52. The purpose of this research to determine the influence of rabbit urine concentration on production of Cucumber and to determine the percentage rate on fertilization with rabbit urine which is the result of the highest production. The methode of this research is Completely Randomized Design, with one control (treatment A: rabbit urine 0%), and four treatments (treatment B: rabbit urine 65%, treatment C: rabbit urine 75%, treatment D: 85%, treatment E: 95%) with repetition at the treatments. The conclution of this research is Cucumber production and concentration 75% yield in Cucumber.
2015-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2015 ITF Journal (International Technology Fisheries Journal) THE USE OF ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS IN PRIORITY DETERMINATION FISHERIES EXTENSION IN CITIES: AQUACULTURE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT 2019-12-14T15:42:56+07:00 Fahrur Razi
Counseling activities of fish farming is one factor that is considered important to apply well in Bogor as one urban area in the country. The purpose of this study are: (1) determine the material / information to be submitted for fishery counseling to overcome the problems and aspects of the latest in marine farming enterprises in urban areas; (2) determine the priority of the material / information dissemination fisheries; (3) determine alternative choice as fisheries extension strategy that is effective in the management of fish farming in urban areas. This study is a qualitative study using exploratory design aimed to prioritize these issues by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The research sample is a panel of experts / a specialist consisting of nine respondents (representing the fish farmer, builder officials, decision makers, and academics) was formed to develop priorities aquaculture extension problem systematically by using AHP. There are eight main issues used in this study, where each issue consists of three to five sub issues. Methods of data analysis in this study consist of: (a) assessment / benchmarking element pairs; (b) the preparation of pairs normalized eigenvector matrix and consistency test; and (c) setting priorities for each hierarchy. This study found that implementation of environmentally friendly cultivation and preservation of ecosystems is the main priority of the criteria material / information dissemination in the city of Bogor. The development of fish farming productive and sustainable is another priority that is considered as a sub-prime criterion of material / information dissemination aquaculture. In addition, also found that the extension activities of aquaculture-based skills are the most effective strategies in urban areas such as Bogor City
2015-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2015 ITF Journal (International Technology Fisheries Journal) TOTAL OF BACTERIA IN DIGESTIVE ORGAN OF NILA FISH BY ADMINISTERING A DIFFERENT COMMERCIAL FEED 2019-12-14T15:48:34+07:00 M. Hadziq Qulubi
Nila is a fish with a slow growth because of the efficiency of utilization of nutrients and energy contained in the feed is too slow, so it is not enough energy available for growth. Feed components that contribute to the provision of materials and energy for growth are proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. The ability of fish to use depends on the nutrient feed enzymes in the digestive organ. Enzyme producing bacteria to help digest fish feed with the help of enzymes produced by the bacteria are protease, lipase and amylase. Determination of Total Plate Count (TPC) has a population of principles that determine the amount of bacteria found in the digestive organ of fish, because the bacteria are the main factors that cause decomposition. The purpose of this study is to obtain total bacterial or Total Plate Count (TPC) in the digestive organ of Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) given different feed. This study was conducted in July-August, 2006, in the Laboratory of Biology, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto. This research is a descriptive research method of solving the problem by describing the subject matter into a form that is easy to understand and based on facts. The results showed that the highest number of total bacteria in the stomach of each type of feed. However, if the average value is taken and compared between the feed is P1, P2 and P3 obtained an average highest number of total bacteria on P2 feed, the average number of bacteria in a row in P1, P2, and P3 are 71.8 x 107 ; 64.5 x 107; 2.9 x 107 which also has the highest crude fiber content of nutrients in the form of a percentage on the proximate test is 8.03%. Expected that the results of this study further research on the addition of probiotic bacteria in the gastrointestinal organ which will help of growth of carp
2015-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2015 ITF Journal (International Technology Fisheries Journal) ANALYSIS OF SEAWEED FARMER PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF EXTENSION IN BONTANG 2019-12-14T15:55:20+07:00 David Indra Widianto
The participation seaweed cultivators that is high in counseling can improve the relevance of the implementation of the extension to the needs of seaweed farmers. There are many factors that influence participation in counseling seaweed farmers. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship and influence the characteristics, perceptions and motivations of the extension of the seaweed farmers’ participation level in counseling. The method used survey non-experimental design. Purposive sampling used to take the respondents. The respondents were 78 people.
